MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) - Manitowoc police have arrested a 28-year-old man in connection to a string of recent robberies.
Police got a break in the case Monday when a detective on patrol observed a man acting suspiciously outside a gas station. That happened around 6 p.m. near the Marathon gas station on Washington Street.
After speaking with him the man confessed to 4 robberies and was booked into jail.
The suspect told police he robbed the businesses to support a heroin addiction.
