TOWN OF MAPLE GROVE, WI (WTAQ) - Residents in Shawano County are being asked to watch out for a suspicious man who offered a boy a ride while he was walking home from Pulaski High School.
Sheriff's officials say it happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday in the area of Crest Drive and St. Augustine Road. A 16-year-old boy told authorities he was approached by a man driving a truck who asked him to take a ride.
The boy yelled at the driver and the truck drove off. When he arrived home a short time later, he saw the truck driving past the area again.
The truck is described as a newer dark blue extended cab Chevrolet Silverado. It had a large dream catcher hanging from the rear view mirror.
The driver is described as a heavy set man with short blond curly hair with a four inch curly beard. He’s about 40 to 45-years-old.
