APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Appleton say they're looking for more information about a single-vehicle crash Monday.
Authorities say it happened near the corner of Weiland Avenue and Laurie Street around 6 p.m.
Before the car struck a tree, the driver side-swiped a van and hit some mailboxes. Authorities believe speed was a factor in the crash, but they don't know how fast the car was going.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was the only person in the car.
