GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Just a day after being cut, five former Green Bay Packers have found new teams through waivers.
Running back Alex Green, the Packers leading rusher last season at 3.4 yards per carry, is going to the New York Jets.
Tight end D.J. Williams has been signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars and linebacker Terrell Manning is now with the San Diego Chargers.
Patrick Lewis and Dezman Moses were also picked up by Cleveland and Kansas City.
Meanwhile, the Packers have begun rounding out the practice squad this season by adding five players, including 7th-round draft pick Charles Johnson.
