WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Waupaca County are searching for a suspect involved in a high-speed chase and crash.
Waupaca County Sheriff's say the chase ended when the vehicle driven by 23-year-old Nickolas Poplawski crashed near Highway 22 and Radley Rd. around 1:15 a.m. That's in the Town of Dayton.
Poplawski fled the scene on foot.
He's described as 6'3", 198 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. Poplawski was last seen wearing a dark shirt or sweatshirt and dark cutoff jeans.
Authorities do not believe he's armed.
