GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - 89 positions will be eliminated by Georgia-Pacific in mid-April.
According to Georgia-Pacific Public Affairs manager Mike Kawleski, the Green Bay company will transfer the shipping department at the Broadway mill to another Green Bay company, RGL Logistics.
Kawleski says they currently have about 50 open positions at the Broadway mill that affected workers could apply for. There may also be opportunities at RGL Logistics as well.
Georgia-Pacific will also make severance packages available.
