NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Neenah believe that a reported shooting incident overnight is a hoax.
Authorities were called around 11 p.m. Sunday about a person being shot inside a home near Henry and Adams Streets.
The caller also indicated another person was in jeopardy of being shot.
Neenah Police called in the SWAT team to the scene, but couldn't find any evidence of a shooting. Officers spoke with the homeowner and found out no one has lived there for several months.
Police say they believe it was a hoax and are investigating who was behind it.
