
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A house fire in Green Bay Saturday forces four people from their home.
Fire crews were called to a home in the 1200 block of E. Garland Street just before 11 a.m.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says they got a report of a fire in the basement of a single-family residence. One adult and two children managed to escape after noticing the blaze.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters say the fire was in the laundry area of the basement. Damage was limited to the basement, with some smoke damage to the first and second floors. Total estimates are at $15,000.
Cause of the blaze is under investigation.
The family of four is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
