GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Sheriff’s officials are looking for a man in connection with an armed robbery and chase.
The Brown Co. Sheriff’s Office says 28 year-old Juan C. Ortiz is a suspect in a Dec. 5 incident that started at a Kwik Trip gas station in Bellevue. Deputies say after an armed robbery, they found a suspect’s vehicle and began to chase it. The chase ended when the vehicle crashed and the suspect got away.
Investigators believe Ortiz was that suspect. He is described as being 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair which is sometimes pulled back in a pony tail. Ortiz has ties to both Green Bay and Milwaukee.
He should be considered armed and dangerous, officials warn.
Anyone who sees Ortiz is asked to call local police or Crime Stoppers at (920) 432-7867. Do not approach him.
