Green Bay, WI (WTAQ) - While customers fill the stores for the start of the holiday shopping season....anxious retailers are keeping a close watch.
Not just on the number of people coming in, but on their bottom line as well. Shopko President Jill Saltu says customer loyalty starts way before we get to this time of year.
Saltu says the goal is to make the shopping experience a good one throughout the year, so customers just naturally think of coming in to buy for the holidays.
She expects items from T-V's to anything related to the movie "Frozen" to be big sellers.
20 percent of the company's yearly business will be done in November and December.
$617 billion is what the National Retail Federation expects will be generated this holiday season.
