OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Oshkosh are investigating hazardous material discovered inside a home Friday.
The Oshkosh P.D., who are working with several organizations, say the material found at the home in the 800 block of Frederick Street is contained and not a threat to public safety.
Authorities are still asking people to stay out of the area as hazardous materials are cleaned up.
Roads and sidewalks are closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Frederick between W. Irving Avenue and Scott Avenue; W. Lincoln between Central Street and Lincoln; and Scott Avenue between Central and Franklin Street.
