WAUPACA, WI (WTAQ) - The man charged with two arsons in New London says he's not guilty.
That's the plea entered Tuesday by 19-year-old Jesse McLamarrah.
McLamarrah is facing nine charges, including two for attempted homicide and two for arson after allegedly setting fires at a building housing a bar and several apartments.
He also allegedly set a fire at New London High School, damaging a playground outside.
Police say McLamarrah told them the fire was payback for an unpaid drug debt.
No trial date was set. Online court records indicate McLamarrah returns to court November 5 for a status conference.
