APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - A suspect in a September shooting at an apartment complex in Appleton has been arrested.
Police used a SWAT team to arrest the suspect at an apartment in the 3400 block of E. Canary Street around 9 a.m. Friday. The SWAT team talked to 3 people inside the apartment – one of whom was the suspected shooter. He was expected to be taken to jail after an interview.
Authorities say the investigation began after witnesses reported finding shell casings and a bullet hole in the door of an apartment in the 3100 block of N. Lawe Street on September 6.
Witnesses then saw several people leaving the apartment complex’s parking lot on foot and eventually getting into vehicles and driving away.
