GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - If you're planning to be outside this weekend, Saturday is your best chance to stay dry.

The National Weather Service says a small ridge of high pressure will move into western Wisconsin Friday night, pushing a weak cold front that will carry showers and thunderstorms toward the east and eventually into Lake Michigan.

The threat of rain is expected to end Friday evening in western Wisconsin, and overnight in the east.

A warm and dry day is predicted for Saturday, with highs in the 80's -- just in time for the opening of the Packers' training camp in Green Bay, where the public can watch outdoor practices but not those moved inside if it rains.

Showers are a possibility late Saturday night and Sunday in much of the Badger State, as another cold front goes through.
