Winneconne, WI (WTAQ) - The Winnebago County dive team has been looking for a missing boater on Lake Winneconne.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department says at around 12:30 p.m. Monday, calls came in about a boat on Lake Winneconne going around in circles. No one was in the boat.
Deputies assume the person who had been operating the boat is missing in Lake Winneconne. Dive teams searched for nearly five hours Monday afternoon.
They'll be back out again today.
