Downtown Green Bay getting Prevea Health clinic

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A new health center will open in downtown Green Bay this year.

Prevea Health will open a new health center at 102 N. Washington Street in May 2014. The 4,101 square foot space is on the ground floor of the Cherry Street parking ramp.

"The economic and residential developments in downtown Green Bay make it a great place to be," said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO of Prevea Health. "We are excited to be a part of it and are committed to bringing those who live and work in the downtown area a reliable source of high-quality health care."

The center offers a variety of medical services, including walk-in, Urgent Care for minor illnesses and injuries, along with lab and X-ray services 7 days a week.

Dr. Rai says about 8 to 10 new jobs will be brought to the clinic. Once finished, the Prevea Washington Street Health Center will be open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
