KEWAUNEE, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Kewaunee County say a man accidentally shot and injured himself on Saturday.
Sheriff's deputies were called around 9:45 a.m. to a 41-year-old Denmark man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on private property in the Township of Franklin.
The man was transported from the scene by ATV and treated prior to being taken to a Green Bay medical facility.
Officials say he appeared to have non-life threatening injuries to his lower leg.
The incident remains under investigation by the sheriff's department along with the DNR.
