
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - A disaster declaration has been signed by Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach in the aftermath of tornado and storm damage from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Officials hope that the declaration will help the county and surrounding communities receive funds for cleanup efforts.

Shortly after midnight Wednesday, a tornado embedded in straight-line winds touched down in southern Brown County, southeast of Kaukauna.
The disasater declaration comes the same day that officials in neighboring Outagamie County asked for cleanup help from the National Guard.
