SHEBOYGAN, WI (WTAQ) - The Wisconsin State Patrol has released a dash cam video of a close call for a patrol officer during a traffic stop.
During a traffic stop along I-43 in Sheboygan County on July 19th a semi-truck and trailer side swipes the State Patrol squad car right in front of an officer as he is walking back to his unmarked car.
Wisconsin state law requires motorists to change lanes or if they can’t slow down when passing a law enforcement or emergency vehicle on the side of the road.
The Move Over Law applies to vehicles that have their warning lights flashing.
